About us


The Partners in Ideas Foundation (PIF) is an independent nonprofit association founded in 2006 with the aim to create a socially responsible, educated society and to support development of philantrophy, building the capacity of non-governmental organisations in Latvia.

Since 2007 PIF has received a status of a public benefit organisation (decision no. 72 of 20/06/2007); whereby companies supporting its activities are entitled to a tax deduction.

The founders of PID are Ieva Morica, Ingrīda Blūma and Atis Zakatistovs. At the moment the Board members of PID are Elīna Neilande, Sabīne Sīle-Eglīte and Zane Priedīte.

 

Our mission

The mission of the Partners in Ideas Foundation is to bring together the interested, confident and socially responsible individuals, organisations and enterprises to take part in the development and implementation of different social change projects, in order to create effective, sustainable and result-oriented solutions for the accute social problems in the society.

Our aims

  •       To create a socially responsible society and to promote philatrophy.
  •       To create a favorable environment for implementation of socially responsible projects.
  •       To support socially vulnerable individuals.
  •       To support the development and implementation of corporate social responsibility projects and the operating capacity in the non-governmental sector.
